About Maxwell
Maxwell Glass grew up interested in politics and law. He earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2012. He continued his studies at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, receiving his J.D. in 2016.
After law school, Glass entered private practice. In 2017 he worked as an associate lawyer at the Law Office of Harley Fastman. That early experience placed him in court frequently and gave him practical exposure to trial preparation and client representation.
Glass has been active in several professional associations since the start of his career. He joined the Nassau County Bar Association in 2013 and became a member of the New York State Bar Association in 2016. He has also belonged to the New York State Defenders Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association since 2018. More recently, he holds membership in the National College for DUI Defense, reflecting an interest in matters that regularly appear in local criminal and traffic dockets.
Colleagues describe Glass as purposeful in the courtroom and careful in case preparation. He has handled a range of matters that require familiarity with criminal procedure, evidentiary questions and practical negotiating strategies. His work has emphasized direct client contact and explanation of options, so clients understand likely pathways through plea offers, hearings and trials.
Glass maintains an office at The Glass Law Group, PLLC. He serves clients in New York and continues to participate in bar activities and specialized training through organizations such as the National College for DUI Defense. He currently handles DUI and criminal defense matters at The Glass Law Group, PLLC.
