Maureen Ann Grattan earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley in 1972. She went on to complete her law degree at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, receiving her J.D. in 1981. The early academic years set a steady path for a long legal career centered in California.
Her professional life spans private practice and advisory roles. In 2015 she took on two notable positions: becoming a partner at Dorais, McFarland, Grattan & Polinsky Law Offices and assuming an of counsel role at Rogers, Sheffield & Campbell. Those appointments followed decades of practice rooted in the region and reflect a move into both firm leadership and senior advisory work. She has maintained an active presence in the Santa Barbara legal community while handling matters that have kept her tied to local courts and practitioners.
Grattan’s involvement in bar and bench organizations is a prominent thread in her career.
