Matthew Scott Pappas is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1994. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Pappas earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in 1994. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at an undisclosed institution. During his time at Western State, he gained practical experience by externing for the Honorable Judge Terry J. Hatter Jr. of the U.S. District Court, appointed by President Jimmy Carter. This experience provided him with valuable insights into federal court procedures and litigation strategies.

He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Riverside for five years. In 2023, he was disciplined by the State Bar of California for professional misconduct found in another jurisdiction, resulting in a one-year probation and a 90-day actual suspension.
Mr. Pappas is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a certified mediator through the Riverside County Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Pappas is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
