About Matthew
Matthew Majeski studied psychology as an undergraduate at Mount Union College, earning a B.A. in 2000. He went on to law school at William Mitchell College of Law, completing his J.D. in 2008. Those academic years set the stage for a practice centered on family dynamics and dispute resolution.
He began his legal work in the community soon after law school. In 2008 he joined Volunteer Lawyers Network Ltd as a full representation lawyer. That volunteer work continued alongside private practice and remains part of his professional life.
In 2009 he established his own practice, operating as Majeski Law, LLC, where he served as sole proprietor and handled family law matters. Over time the office structure evolved and his professional listing now shows Majeski Divorce and Family Law, LLC. He has handled a range of family law cases and integrated mediation into his toolbox.
Outside the office he has maintained ongoing involvement in local legal services and bar activities. Since 2012 he has served as an advisory lawyer for the Washington County Legal Advice Clinic and has worked as a mediator with the Conflict Resolution Center. He holds membership in the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and in several local bar associations, including the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association and the Washington County Bar Association. He also served as co-chair of the Ramsey County Bar Association Family section from 2014 to 2016.
Majeski’s volunteer work runs parallel to his private practice. He has been listed as a full representation lawyer for Volunteer Lawyers Network Ltd since 2008. That involvement reflects ongoing ties to pro bono and low-bono services in his region.
In hearings, mediations and client meetings he combines litigation experience and mediation training. He has worked on custody, divorce, parenting-time and related financial matters. He participates in continuing education through bar groups and family law organizations to keep current on procedural changes and resources available to clients.
He practices in Minnesota and manages a small firm that handles family law cases and dispute resolution. His current practice focuses on family law, divorce and mediation.
