Matthew L. Norwood earned his Bachelor of Science in 1998 from Michigan State University, where he studied pre-law. He returned to the same campus to complete his Juris Doctor in 2001. Those years at Michigan State set the stage for a career spent largely in criminal defense and courtroom practice.
After law school, Norwood began practicing in Michigan. He is authorized to appear in state courts and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
