About Matthew Aaron
Matthew Aaron Lopas is a seasoned criminal defense attorney based in Vista, California. With over 17 years of experience, he has successfully handled more than 1,000 cases and completed over 40 jury trials. As the founder and managing attorney at Lopas Law Group, LLP, he operates from offices located in Escondido and Vista. His legal career began after earning a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 2006. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2003. Mr. Lopas was admitted to the California State Bar in the same year he graduated from law school.
Before establishing Lopas Law Group, Mr. Lopas served as lead trial counsel in over 100 cases during his 14 years with the Sacramento County Public Defender's Office.
