About Mary M.
Mary M. Love combined an interest in human behavior and the law early in her academic career. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2018. That grounding in psychology informed how she approached legal studies and client interaction during her time at law school.
She enrolled at SMU Dedman School of Law and completed her Juris Doctor in 2021. During law school she worked through demanding course loads and legal writing requirements. The J.D. credential provided the training needed for courtroom procedure, statutory analysis and client counseling.
After law school, she joined Kean Miller LLP as an associate. At the firm she entered a fast-paced environment where junior attorneys are expected to handle a wide variety of matters.
