About Mary Kaitlyn
Mary Kaitlyn Davis built a legal foundation at the University of Florida. She earned a B.S. in Public Relations in 2012 and returned to the Levin College of Law for her J.D., which she completed in 2017. Those years shaped her analytic approach and gave her training in both written and oral advocacy.
Her early legal work began in a traditional clerkship. In 2019 she served as a law clerk at Dell Graham, where she handled research assignments and assisted on case preparation. The next year she moved into an in-house role as a legal liaison and compliance officer for Dry First, Inc., taking on responsibilities that ranged from policy review to coordinating between business units and outside counsel. That role broadened her exposure to corporate compliance and operational risk.
By 2021 Davis was working in private practice. She held contract and associate positions at Gendelman Klimas, Ltd., and she also worked as an associate at Blake Harris Law during that same year. Those positions involved drafting contracts, supporting litigation, and advising clients on everyday legal matters. The mix of contract and associate work gave her experience on both short-term projects and ongoing client engagements.
Her peers have recognized her work. She appears on the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America list, a designation that highlights attorneys at earlier stages of their careers who have shown notable professional accomplishments. That recognition sits alongside practical experience from a range of workplaces, from a solo firm setting to a corporate environment.
Davis’s practice style is straightforward. She approaches issues by breaking them into discrete tasks: research, drafting, negotiation and then implementation. That method served her in compliance roles and in private practice alike. Colleagues describe her as methodical and attentive to detail, attributes that matter when deadlines and regulatory requirements are at stake.
Now based in Colorado, she continues to expand her practice. Her background spans legal research, contract work, compliance oversight and litigation support. She currently practices in Colorado, concentrating on compliance, contract work and litigation support for clients.
