Ms. Waller earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate studies at Hofstra University, majoring in Communications with a specialty in Journalism. She also attended Nassau Community College, where she studied Criminal Justice in 1979.
