Martina Kang Ravicz is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2000. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Ravicz is the principal attorney at her own firm, Martina Kang Ravicz, A Professional Law Corporation, located in Palm Desert, California. She has been practicing law for over 25 years, serving clients throughout the Coachella Valley region.
Ms. Ravicz earned her Juris Doctor degree from the American University Washington College of Law in 1987. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at Harvard University, receiving an A.B. in Economics and Asian History in 1984. During her time at Harvard, she developed a strong foundation in economic principles and Asian studies, which have informed her legal practice.
Ms. Ravicz concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She represents individuals and families in matters involving wills, trusts, conservatorships, and special needs trusts. Her practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial consultations, document preparation, court filings, and litigation in probate court. She also handles will and trust contests, assisting clients in disputes over the validity and interpretation of estate planning documents.
Throughout her career, Ms. Ravicz has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Riverside, particularly in the Palm Springs and Indio branches. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to establishing her own firm, she worked as an associate at Schlecht, Shevlin & Shoenberger, A Law Corporation, in Palm Springs, California, from 2000 to 2003. Before relocating to California, she began her legal career in 1987 with Call, Barrett & Burbank in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Ms. Ravicz is an active member of the Desert Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Trusts & Estates Section of the State Bar of California. She served as President of the Board of Directors of the Palm Springs High School Academic Boosters Club and volunteers for Harvard University and the Special Education Department at Palm Springs High School. Ms. Ravicz was born in Inchon, South Korea, and grew up in Aiea, Hawaii.
