About Martin B.
Martin B. Schwartz studied at the State University of New York - College at Buffalo. He completed his undergraduate work there before moving into law-related practice. The college years established a base in research and writing that would shape his later legal work.
He was admitted to the Florida State Bar in 1991 and has maintained that membership since. Early in his career he became involved in professional organizations that reflected his interest in immigration issues. He held membership in the American Immigration Lawyers Association Colorado Chapter in 2001 and served on the faculty of the AILA Annual Conference in 2002. Those appearances placed him alongside other practitioners and educators discussing immigration law developments at the time.
Schwartz has also been active in local civic and professional groups. He is listed as a current member of the Centre Club, the Westchase Area Business Association, and the Carrollwood Bar Association. Those memberships suggest ongoing ties to the Tampa Bay business and legal community while he continued to practice in Florida.
His practice is identified under two office names: Law offices of Martin B. Schwartz and Law Offices of Martin Schwartz. Over the years he built a practice that included immigration matters, informed by his AILA participation and courtroom experience. He has balanced private practice duties with speaking and teaching appearances, and has been a regular presence in regional professional meetings related to immigration law.
Today he remains an active member of the Florida bar and continues to handle immigration cases from his offices. He maintains his local professional ties and continues to appear in settings where policy and practice intersect. He currently practices immigration law at the Law offices of Martin B. Schwartz and the Law Offices of Martin Schwartz, handling a range of client matters in that area of law.
