About Mart
Mart Harris earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He established his legal career in Pennsylvania, where he is authorized to practice. His education at Pittsburgh provided a foundation in litigation and transactional principles and introduced him to the local legal community.
He moved into practice in Pennsylvania after law school. Over the years he has combined courtroom work and advisory roles for individuals and businesses. He is active in professional groups that shape practice standards and provide continuing education. Those memberships include the Allegheny County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and Business Networking International. Through those organizations he has kept current on changes in state law and on trends affecting client counseling and practice management.
Courtroom experience and client counseling are both part of his daily work. He regularly appears in state courts and handles filings, negotiations and hearings. He also spends time advising clients on legal strategy and procedural matters. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approach and attentive to procedural detail. He tends to break complex legal questions into clear steps for clients.
Outside formal practice he participates in professional networking that connects legal services to the local business community. His membership in Business Networking International complements his bar association work. Those networks have informed how he approaches client relationships and case intake. He has used continuing legal education offered by these groups to refine how he manages cases and communicates risk to clients.
Harris maintains an office in the US Steel Tower. From that location he serves a range of clients across Pennsylvania. He handles filings, prepares pleadings and meets with clients in person and remotely. His practice combines courtroom representation, negotiation and routine legal counsel.
He has remained based in Pennsylvania throughout his career and continues to be engaged with county and national bar work. He attends association meetings and participates in programs aimed at keeping practitioners informed about procedural and substantive developments. His current practice concentrates on serving clients in Pennsylvania.
