About Mark
Mark Weinstein earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1992. He gained admission to the New York bar the same year and entered the Florida bar in 1994. Those early steps set a dual-jurisdiction career that spans both New York and Florida court systems.
He practices as a partner at Weinstein & Cohen, P.A. His work has involved appearances in state and federal forums. Over the years he has maintained memberships that reflect a trial-oriented practice, including the Florida Justice Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America’s Medical Malpractice Forum.
Weinstein is admitted to multiple federal courts. His memberships include the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Middle District of Florida, as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Those admissions allow him to pursue cases across several federal venues when matters reach that level.
On the local bar front he has been part of the Collier County Bar Association since 2002. He also holds ongoing membership in the American Association for Justice since 1999, and in the New York bar (state and federal) since 1992. These connections reflect long-standing ties to professional organizations that handle procedural and substantive issues in civil litigation.
Colleagues describe Weinstein as an attorney who maintains a courtroom practice grounded in litigation procedure and case preparation. His participation in the Medical Malpractice Forum signals regular engagement with health care liability matters, while other memberships point to a broader civil trial practice. He balances federal admissions in New York and Florida with active involvement in regional bar groups.
At Weinstein & Cohen, P.A., he works on civil litigation, including medical malpractice cases and related trial work. He continues to serve clients across the jurisdictions where he is admitted and remains active in professional associations that address trial practice and malpractice issues.
His current practice focuses on civil litigation and medical malpractice matters.
