Mark Tad Malachowski is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Malachowski is the founder and principal attorney at Malachowski & Associates, a law firm located in Sausalito, California. He has been practicing law for over 19 years, serving clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Mr. Malachowski earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he graduated in 2005. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Northwestern California University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. During his time at UC Berkeley, he was involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in his field.
Mr. Malachowski concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust litigation. He represents individuals and families in matters involving the creation of wills and trusts, administration of estates, and resolution of disputes related to trusts and estates. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Malachowski has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Marin, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Francisco for five years.
Mr. Malachowski is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law. He is also a certified mediator through the California Dispute Resolution Council. Mr. Malachowski is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the Bay Area effectively.
