About Mark Preston

Mark Preston Albright earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Albright College in 1979. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 1982. Those academic foundations introduced him to both private-sector work and public service in Pennsylvania.

After law school, Albright moved into corporate legal work. In 1987 he served as Corporate Secretary and General Counsel for Great Valleys Savings Bank. The role placed him at the intersection of banking operations and regulatory compliance. He worked on matters that required attention to corporate governance and transactional detail.

Albright later shifted to public administration. In 2004 he was named Executive Director of the Lehigh County Office of Aging & Adult Services. In that post he oversaw the office’s administration and programs aimed at older adults and vulnerable populations in the county. The appointment broadened his experience in issues affecting seniors, caregivers, and local government systems.

He has maintained active involvement in local and specialty bar groups. He is a member of the Bar Association of Lehigh County and the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 1994. He joined the Northampton County Bar Association in 2012. He has been part of the Estate Planning Council of the Lehigh Valley since 2013 and became a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys in 2014. Those affiliations reflect a sustained engagement with estate planning and elder law topics over many years.

Albright practices law in Pennsylvania and has combined private practice, corporate counsel work, and public service across his career. He operates under the name Law Offices of Mark P. Albright. His background includes transactional and organizational work at a financial institution and program leadership at the county level, providing him with a range of perspectives when advising clients.

His current practice concentrates on elder law and estate planning matters, including related counseling and document preparation.
