About Mark P.

Mark P. Yablon built a foundation in business and journalism before turning to law. He earned a B.B.A. from Baylor University and spent time as a visiting business student at Southern Methodist University. He later attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law, where his studies included litigation, real estate, elder law, contracts and family law. He also spent time as a visiting law student at the University of Texas School of Law.

After completing his formal studies he moved into legal practice. His path has crossed both transactional and courtroom work. He has handled matters that require close attention to contracts, careful preparation for disputes, and the procedural demands of civil litigation. He practices under the name Yablon Law PLLC.

Yablon's law school curriculum reflects the range of issues he now addresses. His J.D. included focused study in litigation and contracts, which informs how he prepares pleadings and negotiates settlements. Courses in real estate and family law underpin work on closings, title questions and domestic relations matters. Training in elder law shapes his approach to guardianships, estate planning questions and the legal needs that arise as clients age.

His undergraduate background in business and journalism plays a practical role in his work. The business coursework contributes to an understanding of commercial transactions and the economic consequences of legal choices. The journalism training shows up in concise writing and an emphasis on clear client communication. Those elements are useful whether drafting a contract, explaining a settlement option, or presenting a case in court.

Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who draws on both transactional and litigation experience. Matters that begin as contracts or closings can end up as contested disputes, and that dual perspective shapes how he evaluates risk and strategy. He practices at Yablon Law PLLC, where he handles litigation, real estate, elder law, contracts and family law matters. He currently practices at Yablon Law PLLC, handling litigation, real estate, elder law, contracts and family law matters.
