Mark Michael Greany is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Greany is the principal attorney at the Law Office of Mark Greany, a law firm located in Encinitas, California. He has been practicing law for over 19 years, serving clients throughout San Diego County and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Greany earned his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School, graduating cum laude in 1995. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. During his time at New York Law School, he was recognized with the Criminal Justice Professor Lolordo Award and graduated with highest honors.
Mr. Greany concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, juvenile law, and military law. He represents individuals in matters involving criminal charges, juvenile delinquency proceedings, and military justice cases. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Greany has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Diego for several years.
Mr. Greany is an active member of the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Criminal Justice. He is also a certified mediator through the San Diego County Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Greany is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Diego County effectively.
