About Mark
Mark Medvesky is an attorney who has practiced in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for decades. He completed his legal education at Temple University, earning his J.D. in 1989 after studying criminal justice at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he received a BGS in 1986. Those formative years set the stage for a career that mixes courtroom work, public service and teaching.
Early in his career he served as an Assistant District Lawyer in the District Lawyer's Office of Berks County in 1993. He moved into private practice the following year as a litigation attorney with Sigmon & Sigmon PC. By 1997 he was a partner at Lightner & Medvesky, carrying civil litigation responsibilities and helping to run a small firm. In 2000 his service record included roles tied to the U.S. Air Force Reserve and other government assignments, adding a public-service element to his resume.
In 2008 he taught Business Law as an adjunct professor at DeVry University/Keller Graduate School. The classroom role allowed him to translate practical courtroom experience into lessons for working adults and graduate students. In 2013 he opened his own practice as Principal of Medvesky Law Office, LLC, a period that overlapped with memberships in several professional and advocacy groups, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates. He volunteered with the Keystone Opportunity Center between 2013 and 2016.
In 2015 he joined Wells, Hoffman, Holloway & Medvesky LLP as a partner. That move placed him in a multi-attorney setting again and included work out of the firm’s Pottstown office. Over the years his roles have ranged from trial litigation and prosecutorial work to private practice management and part-time teaching.
His professional affiliations and volunteer work indicate interests that extend beyond pure litigation: immigration matters and veterans’ issues appear among his involvements, and his business law teaching points to familiarity with commercial and transactional topics as well. He is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has maintained a practice that crosses those state lines.
He currently works at Wells, Hoffman, Holloway & Medvesky LLP and practices law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
