About Mark D.
Mark D. Nicolarsen began his academic path in Boise, completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at Boise State University in 2010. He went on to earn his juris doctor at the University of Idaho College of Law, graduating in 2016. Those classroom years gave him the legal foundation he would carry into practice.
While still a law student, Nicolarsen spent time at the Crandall Law Office as a legal intern in 2015. That experience exposed him to day-to-day law office work and the procedural demands of client matters. He returned to Crandall after graduation as an associate in 2017, where he handled research, drafted pleadings and supported trial preparation under the guidance of more senior attorneys.
In 2020 Nicolarsen joined Worst, Stover, Gadd & Spiker, PLLC as an associate. His role there expanded his exposure to courtroom practice and the collaborative work of a multi-attorney firm. He has worked on matters that required written advocacy, client counseling and appearances in court. Colleagues describe him as methodical and attentive to detail, and he has developed practical skills in case management and litigation support.
Nicolarsen is licensed to practice in Idaho. He combines his undergraduate background in marketing with legal training to communicate clearly with clients and opposing counsel. His time in both small and larger firm settings has shaped a pragmatic approach to problem solving and trial preparation. He remains involved in the work of preparing briefs, conducting discovery and supporting oral argument when cases proceed to hearings.
Outside the office Nicolarsen’s earlier marketing studies inform how he organizes cases and discusses options with clients. He has kept active ties to the Idaho legal community and continues to build his practice through steady courtroom experience and client work. He currently practices at Worst, Stover, Gadd & Spiker, PLLC, representing clients in matters before Idaho courts.
