About Mark
Mark Cassell earned his J.D. from the University of Denver in 2016 after attending law school from 2013 to 2016. He moved from academic study into practice in the Pacific Northwest. The Denver program shaped his early litigation instincts and exposed him to federal and state courtroom procedures.
He is licensed to practice in Washington and remains an active member of the Washington State Bar Association. Early in his career he became involved in trial-lawyer organizations. Since 2019 he has been listed in The National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40, a recognition that reflects peer acknowledgment of courtroom work and case handling among younger attorneys.
Cassell has built a practice around courtroom advocacy and client representation. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and direct in presentation. He has handled contested matters in state forums and participates regularly in professional gatherings that center on trial practice and litigation strategy.
His office is in Seattle, where he is part of Twyford Law Office. The firm setting gives him a base for client consultations, motion practice, and trial preparation. He works alongside other attorneys at the firm on cases that proceed through pretrial phases and, when necessary, into trial.
Outside the courtroom he keeps up professional engagement through the Washington State Bar Association. That involvement provides a channel for continuing legal education and rule updates. It also connects him to local court administrators and fellow practitioners.
Cassell’s career to date reflects steady involvement in litigation circles and an emphasis on courtroom readiness. He continues to maintain an active license in Washington and to practice at Twyford Law Office in Seattle, where his practice focuses on trial advocacy and representation in state matters.
