About Marisa Schell
Marisa Schell Gregg graduated from Boston University in 1995 and earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2000. She came of age as a lawyer at the turn of the century and built her practice on the experience she acquired in those early years.
In 2005 she became a partner at Gregg, Hunt, Ahern & Embry. The title reflected a quick rise into firm leadership. By 2011 she was working as a lawyer at Taylor, Ganson & Perrin, LLP. Those positions illustrate a career that has moved between firm roles and direct client work.
Her time in private practice has included work on transactional matters and legal issues tied to property and business dealings. That orientation aligns with her membership in the Real Estate Bar Association, where she takes part in discussions and programs that shape practice around property law. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association, groups that provide professional resources and networks for attorneys across the state.
Gregg’s professional affiliations extend beyond local organizations. She belongs to the National Association of Professional Women, an association that connects women across professions and industries. She has used those memberships to stay current on developments that affect clients and the practice of law in Massachusetts.
Clients and colleagues describe her approach as steady and pragmatic. She has navigated both firm management responsibilities and hands-on legal work. In firm settings she has handled case preparation and the coordination of client matters; in private practice she has represented clients on transactions that touch on real estate and related civil issues.
She practices under the banner of Gregg, Hunt, Ahern & Embry and remains active in Massachusetts legal circles. She maintains a practice concentrating on real estate and related legal matters.
