About Marianne E.
Marianne E. Kreisher built a legal career that moves from public service into private practice. She grew up academically focused on law and business, completing a B.A. in Pre-Law/Business at Pennsylvania State University, University Park in 1993, and earning her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1996.
She began her professional life in government. In 1996 she joined the PA Office of Lawyer General as a Deputy Lawyer General. That early year in public service gave her courtroom and administrative exposure. A decade later she joined Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC as a partner in 2007, where she has been based since.
Kreisher is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and has credentials that extend to federal forums. Her admissions include the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. She also holds a national credential in her area of practice: she is a Certified Elder Law Lawyer through the National Elder Law Foundation.
Her professional memberships reflect a sustained interest in elder law and community involvement. She has been a member of The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Lawyers since 2009. She joined the Pennsylvania Bar Association Elder Law Council in 2013 and maintains membership in both the Pennsylvania State Bar and the Columbia-Montour Bar Association. Outside the bar, she served as president of the Kiwanis Club of Bloomsburg from 2010 to 2012.
Colleagues and clients encounter a lawyer who combines courtroom experience with credentialed specialization. Her certification by the National Elder Law Foundation marks a formal recognition of training and experience in matters that commonly affect older clients and their families. Her work at Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC has involved advising on legal issues that intersect with aging, though the particulars of her caseload vary over time.
Kreisher balances bar and association work with practice, maintaining active memberships that keep her engaged in developments in elder law. She has continued to participate in local civic life while sustaining a practice in Bloomsburg. She currently practices elder law at Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC.
