About Marc Howard
Marc Howard Jaffe earned his law degrees at Villanova University School of Law, where he completed both a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation. He began his undergraduate studies at Temple University and graduated with a B.A. The combination of a traditional Juris Doctor and advanced tax training shaped his early legal interests.
He became a founding shareholder in 1986 at Fromhold Jaffe Adams & Jun, helping to establish the firm’s presence in the region. That founding role placed him in the middle of both transactional work and litigation from the start. Over time his practice developed around matters that often intersect state and federal tax rules.
Jaffe is admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is credentialed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions have enabled him to handle matters that require work at both trial and appellate levels. He has handled filings and courtroom appearances that draw on his formal tax training and general litigation experience.
He holds memberships in several professional organizations. He is active in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Delaware County Bar Association. His participation in these groups has kept him connected to developments in tax law and broader legal practice areas, and it has provided a forum for staying current on procedural and substantive changes.
The LL.M. in Taxation remains a practical tool in his work. He applies that specialized study to client matters that raise tax questions, and he integrates tax considerations into broader legal strategies. His practice often involves advising on tax consequences and handling disputes where tax law is a central issue. He combines courtroom work and client counseling, addressing both state-level concerns and federal questions when they arise.
He currently practices at Fromhold Jaffe Adams & Jun, where his work is centered on tax-related matters and litigation that may proceed to appellate review.
