About Marc Adam

Marc Adam Sherman earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. He arrived at law school after earlier studies and moved into practice equipped to work in both state and federal courts. The J.D. from Seton Hall is the foundation of a career that has spanned multiple jurisdictions and a mix of courtroom and administrative responsibilities.

His practice record shows admission to several bars and courts. He is admitted in New Jersey, Connecticut and New York, and he has credentials to appear in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Records note longstanding memberships in the Connecticut Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers Association dating from 2007 to the present.

Beyond bar admissions, he holds a certification from the State of New York Unified Court System as a court-appointed fiduciary. That credential places him among attorneys authorized to act in guardianship and fiduciary matters under court appointment. He also serves as a pro bono arbitrator for the New York County Lawyers Association Joint Committee on Fee Disputes, a role he has maintained since 2007. Those responsibilities reflect practical work at the intersection of individual fiduciary duties and dispute resolution.

Throughout his career he has handled matters that require appearances in both trial and appellate venues. Admission to the Second Circuit and to the Southern District of New York allows him to carry cases forward when litigation moves beyond the trial court. The mix of state and federal admissions means he can represent clients in a range of procedural settings and respond to matters that cross jurisdictional lines.

Sherman practices at Conway Farrell Curtin & Kelly, P.C., where he brings those court credentials and certified fiduciary duties to bear on client matters. At the firm he engages in litigation-related work, arbitral service and court-appointed fiduciary assignments, drawing on his experience in the courts where he holds admission. His professional activities combine courtroom representation, administrative court responsibilities and volunteer arbitration work.

He remains active in the professional organizations that connect practitioners across New York and Connecticut. That involvement complements his certified role in the New York Unified Court System and his ability to appear in both federal and state forums. He currently works at Conway Farrell Curtin & Kelly, P.C., handling matters in state and federal courts and serving as a court-appointed fiduciary.
