About Manuel L.
Manuel L. Dobrinsky began his legal path at Vassar College, where he earned a B.A. in 1985. He continued his studies at the University of Virginia School of Law and received his J.D. in 1988. Those formative years set a clear direction toward courtroom work and public service.
He first moved into public defense early in his career. In 1994 he served as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Southern District of Florida. That role put him in federal courtrooms and up against complex criminal defense matters, sharpening his trial skills and courtroom presence.
By 1998 Dobrinsky had entered private practice as a partner at Freidin Dobrinsky. He spent years litigating in state and federal courts, building a practice that emphasized trials and contested matters. In 2015 he became a partner at Dolan Dobrinsky Rosenblum, LLP, where he continues to practice. His career shows steady movement between public service and private litigation, and a sustained engagement with trial work.
Dobrinsky is admitted in Florida and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer by The Florida Bar, a credential that reflects his specialization in civil trial practice rather than a generalist practice. He has handled jury trials and bench proceedings in both state and federal venues.
Professional affiliation has been a consistent part of his profile. He belongs to The Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association, and the American Inns of Court. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been active in the Miami-Dade Justice Association since 2009. He served on the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida Bench and Bar Committee from 2011 to 2012, and he was involved in Southern District activities between 2007 and 2010.
Outside the courtroom, Dobrinsky has engaged in community and pro bono efforts. Since 2017 he has served as a board officer for Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., a role that connects his litigation experience to access-to-justice work for low-income residents.
He is known professionally for trial work and courtroom advocacy across Florida’s courts. He currently practices at Dolan Dobrinsky Rosenblum, LLP, where his practice centers on civil trial work and representing clients in state and federal courts.
