About Manny
Manny Serra-Jovenich began his legal path in Florida classrooms and courtrooms. He earned a B.S. from the University of Florida in 2011 and a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2014. Those academic years set the stage for a steady climb through public and private practice.
His first role after law school was at Oppenheim Law in 2014. He moved to the Broward County Public Defender's Office in 2015, where he handled criminal matters and gained regular courtroom time. That experience in public defense exposed him to trial prep, client interviewing, and fast-paced case management. In 2017 he joined Bernstein & Polsky, shifting back to private practice and expanding his caseload to include more complex litigation and client counseling.
In 2018 Serra-Jovenich became a partner at Rossen Law Office. As a partner, he has taken on management responsibilities alongside client work. His time across different firms and the public defender's office gives him a perspective on how cases evolve from arrest through resolution. He has worked on both misdemeanor and felony matters and has experience in plea negotiations and pretrial strategy.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in how he prepares a file. He tends to break cases into discrete tasks: investigation, motions, discovery, and trial preparation. That approach reflects his years in public defense where triaging a high volume of matters is routine. Moving into private practice required adapting those skills to a smaller client base and more individualized legal strategies.
Serra-Jovenich practices from multiple offices of Rossen Law Office, including a Boca Raton location. He divides his time between client meetings, court appearances, and case preparation. The office structure allows him to handle matters regionally while maintaining regular court presence in local jurisdictions. It also gives him the chance to manage files at different stages concurrently.
He remains based in South Florida and continues to balance courtroom work with transactional and advisory tasks that arise in private practice. His recent years show a trajectory from entry-level associate through public defender to partner, marked by steady expansion of responsibility. He currently practices law through Rossen Law Office and handles client matters across its offices.
