About Mandy Gina
Mandy Gina Leigh was admitted to the State Bar of California on June 9, 2003, and is currently associated with Leigh Law Group, P.C. She maintains an active license status and practices primarily in California and the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Leigh completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications in 1993. She then attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2002. Furthering her education, she received a Master of Education Law from Franklin Pierce Law School in 2003.
Her practice areas include Special Education Law, Labor and Employment Law, and Civil Rights. She represents clients in various legal matters, including Individualized Education Program meetings, special education due process hearings, wrongful termination, discrimination in employment, and civil rights violations related to disability rights and education.
Throughout her career, Ms. Leigh has been admitted to practice before several courts, including the Supreme Court of California and multiple U.S. District Courts in California, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has handled numerous cases involving hearings, litigation, and negotiations, particularly in the realms of special education and employment law.
Ms. Leigh is a certified mediator and is actively involved in professional associations such as the California Association for Parent and Child Advocacy and the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates. She has contributed to the field through national speaking engagements and committee service related to special education law.
