About Maksim

Maksim Dilendorf began his legal path at New York Law School, where he completed his legal studies before moving into practice in New York's courts. The classroom gave way to the courthouse, and early work in commercial litigation shaped how he approaches problems today.

His first notable position after law school was as a law clerk in commercial litigation at the New York Supreme Court in 2011. The clerkship exposed him to trial procedures and case management on complex matters. He moved from the bench to a law firm setting in 2013, joining Feinstein & Partners, PLLC to handle real estate and commercial litigation. A year later, in 2014, he took on a senior lawyer role at the same firm, expanding his work to include international private client matters alongside domestic real estate practice.

In 2017 he founded Dilendorf Law Office. Building a firm changed the daily work from case-by-case advocacy to running a practice and shaping a team. He continued to handle litigation while also advising clients on cross-border issues, transactional matters, and property disputes. His experience in both courtroom and transactional settings gives him a perspective that recognizes how decisions at the negotiation table influence outcomes at trial.

Colleagues and clients see him as methodical. He tends to break down complicated problems into manageable steps. That approach shows up in real estate closings, contested commercial disputes, and in work for clients who live or do business across national borders. He has handled both litigation and transactional work, and he is familiar with the procedural demands of New York courts and the documentation that real estate and commercial files require.

Dilendorf maintains an active membership in the State Bar of New York. He continues to take on work that reflects the experience he accumulated in the court system and private practice. The office he established in 2017 serves a mix of individual and business clients and remains the base for his legal work. He combines courtroom experience, firm practice, and client advising as part of a single practice model that addresses both disputes and transactions. His current practice concentrates on real estate, commercial litigation, and international private client matters.
