Mahyar Ghassemian is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Ghassemian is the managing attorney and founder of Ghassemian Law Group, a law firm specializing in construction and business litigation. The firm is located in Mission Viejo, California, and serves clients throughout Southern California, including Orange, San Diego, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.

Ms. Ghassemian earned her Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law, graduating cum laude in 1999. Prior to law school, she obtained a Master’s degree in Physics from California State University, Long Beach, in 1982. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the National University of Iran. During law school, she clerked for the Presiding Justice of the California Court of Appeal, gaining valuable experience in appellate procedures.

Ms. Ghassemian is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and various U.S. District Courts in California.

Ms. Ghassemian is an active member of the State Bar of California and the Orange County Bar Association. She has served as the Chairperson of the OCBA Solo and Small Firm Section and as the Vice President of the Peter M. Elliott Inn of Court, part of the National American Inns of Court. She frequently lectures on construction and business law topics for the Orange County Bar Association and other professional organizations. Ms. Ghassemian is fluent in English, Persian, Turkish, and French, and conversant in Spanish, allowing her to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
