About M. Greg

M. Greg Mullanax built a legal career that spans more than three decades. He completed his undergraduate studies in history at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1982 and earned his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1988. Those formative years set the stage for steady work in both state and federal arenas.

After law school, Mullanax entered a practice shaped by courtroom work and federal filings. Over the years he has secured admissions that allow him to operate across a wide map of courts. His credentials include admission in California, Nevada, Texas, Colorado and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted before the Federal Circuit and several U.S. district courts, including the Eastern District of California, the Northern District of Texas and the District of Nevada. That range of admissions reflects a practice accustomed to differing procedural rules and the demands of multi-jurisdiction matters.

Colleagues describe his approach as practical and steady. He has handled matters that required familiarity with trial procedures and federal appellate practice. The mix of state and federal admissions has enabled him to pursue cases in trial courts and take appeals where appropriate. He has worked on matters that call for careful attention to pleading, motion practice and the particularities of federal court procedure.

Mullanax’s background in history informs how he frames legal narratives. He draws on that training when assembling records, preparing witnesses and drafting briefs. His legal training at McGeorge provided a foundation in both litigation and regulatory materials, and his subsequent practice has kept him engaged with practitioners and judges in multiple jurisdictions.

Throughout his career he has maintained a practice that moves between state courts and federal venues. He has navigated differences in civil procedure, evidence rules and local court customs. That practical experience matters when cases cross state lines or federal boundaries, and when clients need representation in more than one forum.

He practices as a lawyer and continues to accept matters in the courts where he is admitted. He currently practices law across those jurisdictions, handling both state and federal matters.
