About M. Beau
M. Beau Durbin earned his J.D. from the William H. Bowen School of Law in 2003. He completed his legal studies there and moved into a career that combines law and real estate. The degree laid the groundwork for a professional path that crosses both transactional and practical sides of property work.
Early in his career Durbin expanded his involvement in real estate beyond the legal file. He worked as a real estate broker with ESQ. Realty Group. That role put him into direct contact with buyers, sellers and agents. It also gave him daily exposure to the practical issues that often appear in property disputes and closings.
He also practices law at Crow & Durbin, Lawyers at Law. At the firm he handles matters that arise at the intersection of property and law. He represents clients in transactions, assists with title and closing questions, and handles legal matters that grow out of real estate deals. His dual experience as a broker and an attorney informs how he approaches documents, negotiations and client conversations.
Durbin maintains memberships in state professional organizations. He is a current member of the Arkansas Bar Association and the Arkansas State Bar. Those memberships keep him connected to developments in state law and to a network of other lawyers and practitioners across Arkansas.
People who work with him describe a practical approach. He tends to emphasize clear paperwork and straightforward solutions. He has experience answering the kinds of routine and complex questions that surface in residential and commercial transactions. He brings that experience into his law practice and his brokerage work, often moving between the two roles as cases require.
Outside of client work his background in both licensing and brokerage informs how he evaluates risk and structures deals. That perspective is useful in title review, contract negotiation and resolving post-closing disputes. He has remained based in Arkansas, where he continues to serve clients who need counsel on property matters and related legal issues.
His current practice focuses on real estate transactions and related legal matters.
