Lynne M.J. Boisineau is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2001. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Boisineau is the founder and managing partner of Boisineau Law, P.C., a law firm specializing in intellectual property law, located at 16478 Beach Blvd., Suite 347, Westminster, CA 92683. She has been practicing law for over 25 years, serving clients throughout California.
Ms. Boisineau earned her Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School, graduating in 2001. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Cincinnati, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy in 1991. During her time at Whittier Law School, she focused on courses related to intellectual property and participated in related extracurricular activities.
Ms. Boisineau concentrates her practice in the areas of trademark prosecution, counseling, enforcement, and licensing. She also provides litigation support in matters involving trademark, right of publicity, and copyright. Her practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. She has significant experience in domain name proceedings under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and the Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS) System.
Throughout her career, Ms. Boisineau has handled cases in various courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has also appeared before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to founding her own firm, she worked as an associate at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where she focused on global brand registration and enforcement.
Ms. Boisineau is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), serving on the Right of Publicity Committee from 2007 to 2022. She is also a co-chair of the Women in IP Committee of the Orange County Intellectual Property Organization. She has been recognized in the World Trademark Review 1000: The World's Leading Trademark Professionals from 2014 to 2018. Ms. Boisineau is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
