About Lynda C.

Lynda C. Glinski began her legal path at Mississippi College School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2013. She entered the profession at a time when many young attorneys chose public interest work, and her early training reflected that trend. Law school classmates recall a steady work ethic and an interest in civil justice issues.

After graduating, Glinski moved into practice in Texas. She is licensed to practice in that state and has built a career that largely centers on public interest law. Early assignments placed her in community-based legal services, where day-to-day work involved client interviews, drafting pleadings, and advocacy in administrative and court settings.

Her work has included a sustained association with Lone Star Legal Aid. At that organization she handled matters typical of legal aid practice: intake and eligibility assessments, representation in eviction and housing matters, and counsel for clients on family and consumer issues. The role required juggling a heavy caseload and prioritizing urgent client needs. Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and clear in client communication.

Glinski’s approach to cases reflects practical problem solving. She prepares clients for hearings, explores alternative dispute resolution where appropriate, and coordinates with social service providers when legal remedies intersect with other needs. The combination of courtroom work and community outreach has been a recurring feature of her career. It helped her develop skills in interviewing, brief writing, and oral advocacy.

Outside of direct representation, Glinski has been involved in routine organizational tasks that sustain legal aid delivery: supervising volunteers, contributing to intake protocols, and participating in clinic work. These responsibilities required attention to administrative detail as well as the ability to explain legal options clearly to people unfamiliar with the system.

Her colleagues note steady professional development since 2013. That progression included taking on more complex cases and mentoring newer staff. She has maintained a practice anchored in public service and in addressing the civil legal needs of low-income Texans.

She currently practices at Lone Star Legal Aid, where she represents clients in civil matters across Texas.
