About Lynda Barrow
Lynda Barrow Moser began her legal path after studies at the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Stetson University in 1983. She earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1986. Those formative years set the stage for a career that has crossed courtroom, classroom and Capitol corridor.
Her early work placed her in state government and public service. In 1989 she served as an assistant state lawyer in the 7th Judicial Circuit. She later returned to that role in the 15th Judicial Circuit in 1992. In 1991 she worked overseas as a contract law instructor for the University of Maryland’s European Division. A staff lawyer role followed in 1993 with the Advisory Council on Intergovernmental Relations.
Moser moved into positions tied closely to state lawmaking and criminal justice. By 1995 she was chief lawyer for the Florida Senate Committee on Criminal Justice. She worked in the Florida Senate again in 1999 and served as a chief legislative aide in the Florida House of Representatives in 2001. Those roles put her in the middle of legislative drafting and committee work on crime and penalties.
Her private practice and firm experience span more than two decades. In 2001 she practiced with Cohn, Cohn & Hendrix, P.A., and in 2005 she worked at Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney, P.C. In 2008 she became a partner at Moser & Moser, P.A., a position she holds today. She has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1990 and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator. Her professional affiliations have included the Brevard County Bar Association and, for a time, the Melbourne-Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Future Business Leaders of America foundation board.
Moser’s record combines litigation, government service and dispute resolution. She has handled matters that draw on procedural and statutory knowledge cultivated in the Legislature and in state legal offices. That background informs her approach in mediation and when she represents clients in contested matters. She keeps an active license in Florida and practices at Moser & Moser, P.A., where her work includes family law mediation and related legal services.
She continues to maintain membership in The Florida Bar and remains active in local bar association activities as she carries on her practice in Florida.
