About Lusan

Lusan Llabona earned a B.A. in English from Florida International University in 1991 and completed a J.D. at the University of Notre Dame in 1995. Those years shaped an early interest in written argument and legal analysis. He moved from studying law to applying it in practice soon after graduating.

After law school he entered the Florida legal market and, in 1997, established The Llabona Law Group, P.A. The firm has been the center of his professional life since then. Over more than two decades he has built a practice based in Florida and maintained a steady presence in the state's legal community.

Llabona holds membership in the Orange County Bar Association and has been listed there since 2002. That affiliation places him in regular contact with trial lawyers, judges and other attorneys in the region. It also signals an ongoing engagement with local bar activities and the day-to-day workings of the state courts.

Accounts of his career do not list a long roster of public roles or academic appointments. Instead, his record reads like that of a practitioner who has concentrated on steady client work and firm management. He handles matters that arise under Florida law and represents individuals and entities in proceedings within the state. His work involves preparing papers, advising clients on legal options and appearing in court when necessary.

Colleagues and opposing counsel describe him as direct and practical in legal settings. He favors clear writing and straightforward argument. That approach reflects his undergraduate training in English as well as the legal writing and advocacy emphasized at Notre Dame.

The Llabona Law Group remains his base of operations. From that office he continues to serve clients in Florida courts and related proceedings. He maintains his practice at The Llabona Law Group, P.A., representing clients in matters that arise under Florida law.
