About Lorri

Lorri Lomnitzer earned her J.D. from Whittier Law School in 2007 after completing a B.A. in economics at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002. She entered the legal profession at a time when technology and intellectual property issues were moving to the forefront of business disputes. Her academic path combined law and economics, a pairing that later informed the way she approaches complex commercial and technical questions in court.

Her early career began in 2007 at Assouline & Berlowe, P.A., where she worked as a lawyer. She then joined Arnstein & Lehr LLP in 2011. Those years in firm practice gave her a foundation in litigation and client counseling. In 2013 she opened The Lomnitzer Law Office, P.A., a firm she founded to provide more direct, individualized representation to clients seeking counsel in federal and state matters.

Lomnitzer is admitted in Florida and Tennessee and holds admissions to several federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the 11th Circuit. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Her courtroom credentials reflect a practice that moves between trial courts and appellate venues.

Professional memberships form a steady part of her profile. She is a current member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. At the local level she holds memberships in both the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Broward County Bar Association. These affiliations keep her connected to the issues and practitioners shaping litigation, intellectual property and commercial law in the region.

Colleagues and clients see her as methodical. She tends to approach cases by parsing the technical facts and matching them to legal standards. That style is reflected in the types of courts where she maintains admission: forums that frequently handle patent, trademark and federal statutory disputes as well as appeals. Her background in economics also informs the way she evaluates damages and business impacts in contentious matters.

Her firm, The Lomnitzer Law Office, P.A., accepts matters that require both state and federal representation. The practice manages litigation, appeals and regulatory questions for clients across Florida and Tennessee. As of 2026 she continues to run the firm and handle cases that require federal court access and intellectual property expertise.

Her current practice focuses on intellectual property and federal litigation matters in Florida and Tennessee.
