About Logan Kyle
Logan Kyle McEwen built his legal foundation in Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of West Florida in 2009 after beginning his undergraduate studies in 2005. He then went on to law school at Florida State University College of Law, where he completed his J.D. in 2012.
While still in law school, McEwen spent time in state government. In 2010 he served as a law clerk for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in the Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco division. That position exposed him to administrative processes, licensing issues and regulatory enforcement at the state level.
After law school he moved into private practice. In 2012 he worked as a lawyer at McEwen DuBovis P.A. The record reflects his time there in the year he received his law degree. That period marked the transition from government clerkship to client-facing legal work, and it helped shape the practical side of his approach to cases and transactions.
McEwen has maintained ties to the local legal community. He joined the Jacksonville Bar Association in 2015 and remains a member. He also became involved in the Innovative Community Engagement Foundation beginning in 2014 and continues his affiliation. Those memberships reflect ongoing engagement with peers and civic organizations rather than a single courtroom or office practice.
Today he is associated with Marks Gray, P.A. His career path takes him from state regulatory work through early private practice and into his present role at that firm. Colleagues note that his background includes experience in administrative law from his clerkship and hands-on client practice from his time at McEwen DuBovis.
McEwen is licensed to practice in Florida. He has balanced public-sector exposure and private practice assignments throughout his career. He continues to work at Marks Gray, P.A., where his practice draws on both regulatory experience and prior firm work and concentrates on matters arising under Florida law.
