About Logan

Logan Collins entered the legal profession after a steady climb through Utah’s universities. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah in 2012 and completed his Juris Doctor at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the same university in 2016. Those years in Salt Lake City shaped his approach to law: methodical, pragmatic and tied to local institutions.

Fresh out of law school, Collins moved into private practice. By 2017 he was serving as Managing Lawyer at Collins Rupp, P.C. That early elevation into management put him in a position where casework and administration meet. He has overseen day-to-day operations while also remaining involved in client matters. The role requires balancing court calendars, supervising staff and making strategic decisions about how the firm delivers services to clients across Utah.

Colleagues describe a lawyer who favors clear lines of reasoning and direct communication. He relies on research and precedent when preparing a matter for court or negotiation. He is comfortable in both written and oral advocacy, and he emphasizes practical outcomes over theatrical gestures. His training at Quinney College of Law provided exposure to litigation skills and the procedural mechanics of practice in Utah courts, which inform how he approaches files today.

Outside the office, Collins keeps ties to the legal community. He maintains professional memberships and remains active in the local bar landscape. Those connections help when cases require collaboration across specialties or when clients need referrals. They also keep him attuned to changes in procedure and courtroom expectations within Utah.

Management at a small firm can be unpredictable. Collins’s role has meant juggling client intake, supervising junior lawyers and managing workflow. He has overseen the development of internal processes intended to keep matters moving and to make sure deadlines are met. He is part of a practice that aims to give clients direct access to the lawyers who handle their files.

Logan Collins continues to practice law at Collins Rupp, P.C. in Utah. His current work concentrates on representing clients in matters brought in Utah courts and on managing the firm’s legal services delivery.
