About Lisle T.
Lisle T. Weaver built his legal foundation in western Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh before completing his law degree at Duquesne University School of Law. Those local roots shaped the start of his professional life and his approach to practice.
After law school he entered private practice and took on the role of associate lawyer at Farrell Weaver & Okun. In that capacity he worked on matters brought before both state and federal tribunals. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, which allows him to appear in federal cases originating in the region.
Colleagues describe him as practical and steady in the office. He handles the day-to-day tasks that keep a law practice moving: drafting pleadings, preparing briefs, attending hearings and conferences, and working with clients to clarify objectives and options. His work has required attention to procedural detail and an ability to manage competing deadlines. He spends time in court as needed and also supports trial preparations when cases move toward litigation.
Weaver maintains current memberships in professional associations. Those affiliations place him in regular contact with peers and with continuing legal education offerings. He uses those opportunities to keep current on local rules and evolving practice standards that affect cases in both state and federal courts.
He remains connected to the community where he grew up and studied. That connection is reflected in the geographic focus of his practice and the clients he serves. He often works on matters that require familiarity with local courts, judges and administrative processes, and he draws on his regional experience when advising clients about procedural strategy and likely timelines.
At Farrell Weaver & Okun his role as an associate is to support more senior attorneys while taking responsibility for discrete pieces of complex matters. He manages research assignments, oversees discovery tasks and prepares court filings that advance client positions. His work is practical and task-oriented, geared to moving files forward and preparing them for resolution, whether through settlement or trial.
He currently practices at Farrell Weaver & Okun and focuses on matters handled by the firm.
