About Lindy
Lindy Moody earned her Juris Doctor from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in 2011. She completed a curriculum that emphasized practical skills alongside doctrinal study. The law school’s clinical programs and local connections offered early exposure to the courts and to practicing lawyers in Georgia.
After graduation she entered practice in Georgia. Over the years she has worked at different points on both client counseling and matter management. Those early roles gave her regular courtroom exposure and a steady stream of transactional work. She has handled pretrial preparation, negotiated settlements and worked on case strategy for matters heard in state courts.
Her professional path includes work on matters governed by Georgia law. She represents clients on issues that require an understanding of state procedures and statutory frameworks. Colleagues describe her approach as pragmatic: she breaks issues down into discrete steps, sets clear expectations, and keeps clients informed as cases move through the system.
She practices at The L. Moody Law Office, PC. The office serves clients locally and manages a caseload that spans routine filings to contested matters. Cases and client needs vary; much of her work requires balancing courtroom advocacy with out-of-court negotiation and document drafting. She is also involved in the administrative and managerial aspects of running a small firm, from client intake to fee arrangements and staffing.
Outside of individual matters she keeps current on developments in Georgia law through continuing education and professional contacts. Those activities help her track changes in case law and procedure that affect everyday practice. She is a member of professional associations in the state and participates in the legal community on an ongoing basis.
Her current practice concentrates on representing clients in matters governed by Georgia law, handled through The L. Moody Law Office, PC.
