About Lindsey
Lindsey Seeskin built her career from classrooms in Illinois to courtrooms in Chicago. She studied public affairs and law in the state she now practices. After earning a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Her legal career has been rooted in Illinois. Seeskin holds membership in the State Bar of Illinois since 2011 and remains an active participant in the state's legal community. Early in her career she developed practical courtroom skills and an understanding of procedural and substantive law that has guided her practice ever since.
She has kept steady ties to professional associations that shape local practice. She is a current member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and The Decalogue Society of Lawyers. Those memberships have kept her connected to continuing legal education, peer networks, and policy discussions affecting litigators in the region.
Over the years Seeskin has handled a mix of civil matters. Her work has involved case preparation, motion practice, and appearances in trial settings. She has experience assessing claims, managing pleadings, and negotiating settlements. Colleagues describe her as thorough in case management and direct in courtroom advocacy.
In practice she places emphasis on clear communication with clients. She explains options, lays out possible outcomes, and prepares clients for each procedural step. She also places importance on careful document preparation and strategic use of discovery. Her courtroom work includes attending hearings and pursuing favorable resolutions through trial when necessary.
Seeskin founded Seeskin Law LLC to concentrate her practice and provide focused representation. The firm handles matters in Illinois and draws on her years of local experience. Her office aims for pragmatic case handling and steady client updates during litigation.
Outside of client work she remains involved in association activities that keep her current on changes in law and procedure. She attends professional gatherings and participates in programs offered by the associations where she holds membership.
Lindsey Seeskin continues to practice in Illinois and maintains active bar membership. Her current work centers on civil litigation matters handled through her firm, Seeskin Law LLC.
