About Lindsay K
Lindsay K Jones built her legal foundation at the University of Mississippi. She finished a B.A. in anthropology in 2005 and returned to the same campus for law school, earning her J.D. in 2009. Those years in Oxford shaped a methodical approach to evidence and an interest in how social context affects people in conflict with the law.
She moved into public service early in her career. In 2010 she served as a youth court prosecutor in Tunica County, handling cases that required attention to both legal standards and the needs of young people. That same year she took on work as a board lawyer for the Town of Sledge, Mississippi, advising local officials on municipal matters and helping to translate state law into day-to-day local decisions.
A decade after her first prosecutorial post, Jones returned to Tunica County in a more senior prosecutorial role. In 2020 she was county prosecutor, a position that placed her at the center of the county’s criminal calendar. The role involved courtroom preparation, case management, and working with law enforcement and victims through the stages of prosecution.
In addition to courtroom work, Jones holds a Guardian Ad Litem certification from The Mississippi Bar. That credential authorizes her to be appointed by courts to represent the interests of children in custody, abuse, and neglect proceedings. The certification complements her earlier youth court experience and adds a layer of child-centered advocacy to her legal toolkit.
Her career threads through municipal advising, juvenile prosecution, and county-level criminal work. Those experiences have given her practical familiarity with court procedures, plea negotiations, and the realities that local governments and families face when legal issues arise. She has worked on cases that required coordination among prosecutors, defense counsel, social service agencies, and court personnel.
Jones now practices under the name Lindsay Klimek Jones, Lawyer at Law. She manages a small practice that draws on years in public office and court-appointed representation. Her practice handles matters tied to criminal cases, juvenile proceedings, and representation of children as a court-appointed guardian ad litem. She maintains a practice focused on courtroom advocacy and client-oriented representation in those areas.
