About Linda Marie

Linda Marie Freeman earned her law degree from Washington University School of Law in 2004 after completing undergraduate studies in English at the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2000. Her academic path combined rigorous legal training with a humanities background. The English degree sharpened her ability to read closely and write clearly. Her J.D. provided the doctrinal and practical tools required for a career at the Missouri bar.

After completing law school, Freeman went on to practice in Missouri. She is admitted to the Missouri bar and maintains active ties to the state legal community. Over the years she has built a practice grounded in the careful reading of statutes and case law, and in translating complex legal issues into plain language for clients and colleagues.

Freeman’s education left an imprint on how she approaches work. Her training in English strengthened analytical habits and attention to detail. At law school she further developed skills in legal research and written advocacy. Those capabilities inform how she prepares correspondence, briefs, and other submissions now. She favors clarity over jargon and methodical preparation over improvisation.

She holds current membership in professional legal associations and participates in the networks that sustain practice in Missouri. That engagement keeps her current on developments in state law and connects her with peers across practice areas. Colleagues describe her as someone who values rigorous preparation and measured judgment when addressing disputes or transactional questions.

In daily practice Freeman handles matters that require steady legal analysis and careful client communication. She works directly with clients to define objectives and to map practical steps toward resolution. Her work reflects a steady application of the skills she developed in school and early practice: close reading, precise writing, and an insistence on clear explanations.

Looking ahead she continues to practice in Missouri, serving clients locally and handling matters that arise under state law. Her current practice focuses on providing legal representation and counsel to clients on issues arising under Missouri law.
