About Linda M.
Linda M. Pizzini pursued a law degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, earning her J.D. in 2004. She remained connected to the university system for further interdisciplinary training in child abuse and neglect at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2006. Her undergraduate work was completed at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she received a B.S. in 1999 in an interdisciplinary program combining criminal justice, political science and history.
Her early professional life included management roles outside the legal field. She worked for Wal-Mart beginning in the late 1980s, serving as a district loss prevention supervisor and later as a store manager. That practical management experience gave way to a career in law. She became a paralegal at Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma in 2000, then moved through internships and early practice roles, including a legal internship with the Oklahoma County District Attorney in 2006 and an associate position at Tucker Law Office in 2007. In 2008 she worked as Program Administrator of Investigations for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. She started Pizzini Law Office in 2009 and has practiced there since.
Pizzini’s memberships in professional associations date back to the mid-2000s. She has been a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association since 2007. She also holds membership in the Family Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association and in Oklahoma Lawyers for Children. Since 2013 she has served as a mentor and coordinator for the Family Law Section Trial Advocacy Institute. She remains affiliated with the Canadian County Bar Association and continues involvement with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma as a lawyer.
The pattern of her training and positions suggests sustained engagement in family law and child welfare matters. Her additional interdisciplinary training in child abuse and neglect, combined with administrative work at the Department of Human Services and time at Legal Aid Services, shapes the kinds of cases she handles and the settings in which she has worked. Her role in trial advocacy education points to experience in courtroom procedures and trial preparation.
Since opening Pizzini Law Office in 2009, she has handled matters that reflect that background. She represents clients in family-related proceedings and addresses issues arising from child welfare investigations and advocacy. Her current practice centers on family law and child welfare matters handled through her private practice and related legal aid activities.
