About Leticia M.

Leticia M. Kimble earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California in 2005. She went on to complete her J.D. at the University of Michigan Law School in 2008. Her academic path combined a foundation in political theory with three years of legal training in Ann Arbor.

Kimble began practicing law after law school and rose through firm ranks to become a partner in 2018 at Raines Feldman Littrell LLP. She has experience in courtroom work and in investigative roles. At the firm she handles matters that require both litigation skill and careful fact-gathering.

Her admissions span multiple federal and state jurisdictions. She is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She also holds admission in several federal trial courts, including the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Those credentials allow her to take cases across district and circuit lines when clients need representation in different forums.

Kimble is active in several professional organizations. She maintains memberships in the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Culver Marina Bar Association. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, and belongs to the Association of Title IX Investigators. Those affiliations reflect an interest in both broad legal issues and the particular procedural demands of campus investigations.

Colleagues describe her work as methodical and precise. She has worked on matters that combine administrative investigation and litigation. That combination has required attention to evidentiary detail and to procedural rules that govern both internal investigations and court proceedings.

At Raines Feldman Littrell LLP, Kimble splits her time between investigative assignments and court work. She prepares evidence, takes sworn statements, and presents arguments in hearings and trials when matters proceed to litigation. Her practice calls for both written advocacy and in-person advocacy in federal and state venues.

Outside of casework she participates in bar activities that address procedural and investigatory practice. She keeps current on changes in case law affecting investigatory standards and on procedural developments in the federal courts where she is admitted. Her current practice centers on education law, Title IX investigations, and litigation in state and federal courts.
