About Leslie Dane

Leslie Dane Hanna built a nontraditional path to the law. She began her academic studies at Texas Tech University, where she earned a B.S. in Management and Psychology in 1999. Years later she returned to legal studies at South Texas College of Law, completing her J.D. in 2014.

After law school, Hanna entered private practice and has worked in several firm settings. In 2023 she served as a lawyer at Touchstone, Bernays, Johnston, Beall, Smith & Stollenwerck, LLP. That role added to her experience inside a litigation-focused environment and exposed her to firm-level practice dynamics.

Hanna’s work history reflects steady movement between firms and offices. Her current office affiliation is listed with Waddell Serafino Geary Rechner Jenevein, PC. Colleagues describe her as pragmatic in approach and detail-oriented in case preparation. She balances client contact with research and courtroom preparation, keeping files organized and deadlines met.

In the office she handles a variety of matters that arise in private practice. She has experience drafting pleadings, preparing discovery, and appearing at hearings. That day-to-day work requires attention to procedure and an ability to explain legal points clearly to clients who do not speak the language of the law. Hanna’s background in management and psychology gives her tools for client communication and for managing case workflow.

Outside of court, Hanna maintains a practice pattern that mixes client counseling and active case management. She trains staff to follow firm procedures and often oversees document production. Her approach to a case tends to be methodical: identify legal issues, assemble the record, and move the matter forward through each procedural milestone.

Colleagues say she is steady in the courtroom and deliberate in motion practice. Clients working with her can expect clear explanations of steps and likely outcomes based on the record at hand. She continues to practice from the Waddell Serafino Geary Rechner Jenevein, PC office and concentrates on representing clients there in a range of matters arising in private practice.
