About Leonid
Leonid Mikityanskiy studied law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He built a technical and legal toolkit that led him toward intellectual property work. Early training at Cardozo exposed him to both litigation and transactional aspects of the law.
He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also a registered patent and trademark attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. That credential allows him to handle patent filings and trademark matters on behalf of clients before federal authorities.
Mikityanskiy has practiced through his own firm, the Law Offices of Leo Mikityanskiy, P.C. He manages matters there as the principal lawyer. Over the years he has handled patent prosecution, trademark registration, and related IP counseling for businesses and individual inventors. His workload has combined drafting and filing federal applications with counseling clients about protection strategies.
Since 2006 he has maintained membership in a professional association. That long-term membership has kept him connected to peers and developments in intellectual property law. He attends continuing education and stays current on changes to patent and trademark practice that affect filing deadlines, examination practices, and client options.
Colleagues describe his approach as straightforward. He breaks down technical issues into plain terms for clients. He prepares patent applications and trademark filings, and he handles the procedural steps that follow: office action responses, amendment drafting, and interacting with examiners. He also advises clients on trademark clearance and selection to help reduce risk before they invest in branding.
Today he practices at the Law Offices of Leo Mikityanskiy, P.C. He balances federal patent and trademark work with state-licensed matters across New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His current practice centers on patent prosecution, trademark registration, and related intellectual property counseling.
