About Lee

Lee Niedrach earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2012 after completing his undergraduate studies within the University System of Georgia. He came out of law school at a time when federal and appellate dockets were increasingly active. That timing helped shape the early years of his legal career.

He is licensed to practice in Georgia and is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions indicate a practice that reaches beyond the state courthouse. He has logged work on matters that required federal filings and appellate briefing and has navigated procedural demands at both trial and appellate levels.

Niedrach is associated with McRae, Smith, Peek, Harman & Monroe, LLP. He joined the firm and has worked on litigation matters across state and federal forums. At the firm he has been involved in case preparation, motion practice and appellate briefing, operating within teams that handle contested litigation for a range of clients. Colleagues describe his approach as methodical and exacting in paperwork and courtroom preparation.

He maintains current memberships in professional associations and participates in continuing legal education to keep current on developments in federal practice and appellate procedure. Outside of court filings and briefs, he has worked on strategy for appeals, drafting petitions and responses, and coordinating records for appellate review. His admissions to prominent federal benches mean he has taken the procedural steps required to appear in higher courts, and that has shaped how he prepares cases at earlier stages.

Clients and peers encounter a lawyer who blends careful legal research with a practical sense of trial and appellate timing. He handles pleadings, motions and briefs that must conform to tight procedural rules. At McRae, Smith, Peek, Harman & Monroe, LLP he continues to handle litigation in state and federal court and accepts appellate work when cases progress beyond trial. He currently concentrates his practice on litigation in state and federal courts, including appellate matters.
