About Leah C
Leah C Good built a legal foundation that began in the Midwest. She earned a B.S. in Public Affairs from Indiana University–Bloomington before completing her J.D. at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2005. Those years of study set the stage for a steady climb through courtrooms and law offices.
Her first post-law school position was as a law clerk to the 30th Circuit Court in 2006. That early exposure to court procedure and case management gave her practical insight into how judges and litigants work through complex matters. She moved from the courtroom support role into private practice several years later.
By 2011 she joined Boeglin, Troyer & Gerardot, PC as an attorney. After a year there she became a partner in 2012 at Troyer & Good, PC. The shift to partnership created room to take on more substantial client responsibilities and to shape the firm’s approach to clients’ legal needs. Colleagues describe her as steady and methodical in handling matters that require careful documentation and attention to detail.
Good is licensed to practice in both Michigan and Indiana. That dual jurisdictional standing has allowed her to handle cross-border matters for clients whose affairs touch both states. Her work has intersected with probate and estate practice regularly, and she has maintained ties to professional groups that reflect that emphasis.
She has been active in local and regional organizations. Since 2013 she has served on the board of Healthier Moms and Babies. She has been on the Planned Giving Council of Northeast Indiana’s program committee since 2012, and a member of the Fort Wayne Estate Planning Council since 2011. Within the Allen County Bar Association she chaired the Probate, Trust and Tax Section from 2013 to 2014. Those roles have kept her connected to peers and to developments in estate planning and related practice areas.
Clients and colleagues note that she prioritizes clarity in documentation and a practical mindset when advising on estate, trust and probate issues. She balances procedural familiarity with attention to client goals. Currently she is a partner at Troyer & Good, PC, where her practice focuses on estate planning, probate, trust and tax matters.
