About Lauren R.
Lauren R. Angelos built her path to law on two coasts. She completed a bachelor’s degree in political science at Pepperdine University in 2006, then went on to earn a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2011. Those years shaped her approach to legal work: practical, detail-oriented and mindful of how law intersects with everyday concerns.
After law school, Angelos entered the California legal community. She is licensed to practice in California and has practiced there since completing her degree. Her early years in practice involved trial preparation, client counseling and courtroom appearances. She learned the routines of casework and the pacing of litigation, and she developed a steady courtroom presence.
Her career has included work both inside firms and in roles that required direct client contact. That mix gave her experience managing files from intake through resolution. She handled discovery, motion practice and settlement negotiations. In the office she prepared pleadings and advised clients on procedural strategy. In court she presented arguments and examined witnesses.
Colleagues and clients have described her as precise in her legal writing and methodical in preparing for hearings. She approaches matters by breaking issues down into their components and addressing each one in turn. She does not rely on grand theories; she focuses on the rules, the facts and the mechanics of getting a case to a constructive outcome.
Angelos moved from associate roles to establishing her own practice, founding Angelos Law Group. Running a small firm changed the rhythm of her work. She now combines client-facing responsibilities with administrative and management tasks. That includes supervising staff, setting case priorities and maintaining client relationships across a variety of matters brought in through the California courts.
Today she practices at Angelos Law Group in California, representing clients in state proceedings and advising on issues under California law. Her practice blends courtroom work and counseling, and she continues to take cases that require pragmatic problem-solving and steady litigation skills.
